Hoge vs. Snyder at Talladega (1989)

Todd Hoge, racing a Yamaha FZR600, leads Mike Snyder and his Suzuki GSXR750 during a WERA sprint race at Talladega Gran Prix Raceway in February of 1989. Both riders earned some hardware that weekend. Hoge scored a podium in A Superbike, finishing a close runner up to Scott Russell, who’d just signed with Yoshimura Suzuki. Snyder was runner up to Cam Roos in the B Superstock final.

  1. Mike, You always did well on tight, technical tracks. You were so strong that you just sort of flicked the bike side to side with very little effort. Glad you visit the site.

  3. Mike I remember when you were contemplating the move to Atlanta. You said that the employers in the south were hungry for northern workers with better work ethics. Easy on the flame folks this was reported by Mike not generated by him.

I am jealous that you managed to find work in the industry, but I found a great home with Bosch who I have been with for over 25 years now.
