PICKERINGTON, Ohio — As the 2012 AMA Supercross season reaches its stretch run, AMA Live Timing & Scoring continues what has been a successful year of upgrades to the popular portal to real-time race results.

The free service, available on AMASupercross.com, includes not just live results that keep fans plugged into the action, but is supplemented by archived results, photo galleries, race reports and the official series media guide, including rider bios and the full history of AMA Supercross.

“The 2012 season has been a banner year for AMA Live Timing & Scoring,” says AMA Director of Supercross Kevin Crowther. “Not only have we enjoyed even more reliable results reporting thanks to infrastructure upgrades at various facilities, we’ve also rolled out a new more-readable and more-responsive interface that fans love. One thing we haven’t changed, though, is that live timing and scoring remains a free service to the fans of AMA Supercross.”

While live and in-person is always the best way to experience AMA Supercross, fans who can’t make it to the track are invited to follow the action online at AMASupercross.com. In addition to real-time results, AMASupercross.com includes archived practice, qualifying and results information; on-location race-day photography by one of the sport’s premier shooters, Jeff Kardas; the official series media guide; official rider numbers and biographies; schedule and ticket information; the official series rulebook; rider bulletins and competition notices from AMA Racing.

AMA Supercross Live Timing & Scoring will be going strong this Saturday night with all the action and results from New Orleans’ Louisiana Superdome. From there, the series moves to Seattle, Salt Lake City then Las Vegas, Nev., for the finale.
