Mark Betourne (No. 888) and Glenn Cooper (No. 987) battle coming up through Road Atlanta’s turn five in a WERA C Production Novice race in August of 1985. Both riders were on Kawasaki Ninja 600s, a very popular 600 production racer of that era. Cooper was one of the leading WERA novice racers of 1985 and he eventually got around Betourne in this race.
