Putnam Fog

This could be fogging of the film instead of a real fog bank, but I think the result was kind of cool anyway. It’s from a WERA North Central Sprint race at Putnam Park Road Course in June of 1992. I’m guessing this was a C Superstock race. I’m not certain who the leader No. 30 is, maybe Ramon Vasquez. I do recognize Bill Sweeney (No. 746), Stacy VanHoy (No. 23), Reuben Frankenfield (No. 35), Matt Macheca (No. 92), Kris Badger (No. 872) and Darrell Wenke (No. 21). (Larry Lawrence photo)

  3. Those were some great days and great guys to battle with as well! I still talk about Bill and Rueben as well as Lanny A. and Kenny M. and Frank W. and Mike D. to this day. Glad to have discovered this site.

      I was glad I got to cover some of your racing career. You were part of a really fast group of riders that came on the scene in the early ’90s.
