Quebec’s Francis Martin races his Snobgirls/Suzuki Canada Suzuki GSX-R1000 at Barber Motosports in the AMA Superbike race on Sunday, April 24, 2005. Martin came down to Barber, as did several of the Canadian Superbike regulars, in preparation for that year’s Canadian series. Martin finished 12^th on this day at Barber. In the AMA Superbike Championship he raced Daytona, Barber and Elkhart Lake. His best result south of the border was 11^th at Elkhart in Saturday’s race. He finished 32^nd in the final standings. Martin went on that season to win the 2005 Canadian Superbike Championship.
