New positions strengthen teams at Hulman & Company, IMS
INDIANAPOLIS, Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011 – Hulman & Company and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway completed the latest phase of their corporate restructuring with the promotion of five executives into senior leadership and management positions, President and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Belskus announced Nov. 1.
The promotions:
•Michael Redlick was named senior vice president and chief sales and marketing officer for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
•Ronald L. Galle was named vice president and chief financial officer of Hulman & Company and IMS.
•J. Douglas Boles was named vice president of communications for Hulman & Company and IMS.
•Gretchen E. Snelling was named vice president and chief legal counsel of Hulman & Company and its subsidiaries, including IMS.
•Marla Flowers was named director of operations at Hulman & Company.

Redlick joined IMS in March 2011 as vice president and chief sales officer, responsible for all sales and business development functions at IMS, including sponsorship and hospitality. Professional franchises for which Redlick worked included the San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns, Memphis Grizzlies and Cleveland Cavaliers. He also has worked as a practicing attorney licensed in Ohio and New York.
Galle is responsible for all accounting and financial functions of Hulman & Company and its subsidiaries. He joined the company in 2006 as director of accounting and was promoted in July 2009 to vice president and treasurer of IMS and treasurer of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation.
Before joining IMS, Purdue University graduate Galle served as audit manager for BKD LLP, one of the 10 largest CPA and advisory firms in the country.
Boles is responsible for all public relations and external and corporate communications for Hulman & Company and IMS. He joined the company in November 2010 after more than 15 years of executive-level motorsports experience in team operations, marketing, sponsorship and public relations.
Indiana native and Butler University graduate Boles also holds a law degree from the Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis and worked in governmental and corporate affairs for the city of Indianapolis from 1992-97.
Snelling joined IMS in 2004 after serving as an attorney with Ice Miller from 1995-2003. She was promoted to vice president and general counsel of Hulman & Company and IMSC in July 2009.
She received her doctor of jurisprudence degree, summa cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law in 1995. Her undergraduate work was at Purdue University, where she received a bachelor of science in economics, with distinction, in 1992.
Flowers most recently served as general manager of Clabber Girl Corporation, a Hulman & Company subsidiary. She has worked for Clabber Girl for 29 years, holding positions in customer service, accounting, marketing, public relations, operations and human resources.
She is a lifelong resident of Terre Haute, Ind., headquarters for Hulman & Company and Clabber Girl, and is a passionate supporter of her hometown. 2007 Athena Leadership Award recipient Flowers has served in leadership positions in many civic and philanthropic organizations, including the United Way of the Wabash Valley, Downtown Terre Haute, Inc. and Junior Achievement.
