I finally came across a color photo of Honda of Niles, the 1990 WERA Mediumweight Production Endurance Champion. I thought this team’s bike was perhaps the best looking machine of the WERA series at the time painted in its sponsor’s 7-Up color scheme. The Ohio based team with riders Ron Crum, Tom Bickerstaff and Rick Pagniano, won the class championship that year over Team Swine Dudes and Team Hawaii. They would become Force Racing in 1991, switched to the Heavyweight Production class on a Yamaha FZR1000, and finished third overall in the championship to Team Suzuki Endurance and Hall ‘N Still Racing.
