Murray’s World Turns Upside Down

Steve Murray finds himself sliding down the track with his Harley Davidson of Salina/T&R Racing Harley-Davidson XR750 completely upside down between turns three and four at I-96 Speedway. Murray crashed during the third Heat race of the Grand National at I-96. He was OK and able to restart.

  1. Nice timing Larry. That photo reminds me of what Earl Hayden told me about where the famous Hayden “69” came from. He said he chose it for his race number for moments like this. So that his number would always read the same no matter if he were upside down or not.
