The late-great Cycle Guide Magazine used to name a Motorcycle of the Year and to honor that bike the magazine would totally chrome the winning machine. This was the 1984 Motorcycle of the Year, the BMW K100RS. Some readers thought the bikes were simply models, but no, they were real and were really chromed.

The 1984 BMW K100RS in total bling as done by Cycle Guide Magazine for its aptly named Silver Bullet Awards and the top honor, The Motorcycle of the Year.
