The Mile is On as Scheduled Sunday

SPRINGFIELD, IL. (May 28, 2011) – Thunderstorms moved through Springfield Saturday causing the postponement of the first half of the Memorial Day weekend AMA Grand National doubleheader, Saturday night’s Springfield TT National. AMA Pro Racing and IMDA officials have decided to run the TT on Monday.

The Springfield Mile is slated to be on schedule tomorrow, with practice starting at 10:15 am and the opening ceremonies slated for 1:00 pm Central. The TT will run on that same schedule on Monday.

Weather is forecasted to be hot and mostly sunny on both Sunday and Monday.
