The staff of MX Sports put together one of the best motorcycle racing history features I’ve ever seen on the web – maybe the best. It is a wonderful 40-year retrospective on the outdoor nationals. Not only does the series cover what happened each year in AMA Motocross, the photography that accompanies the series is equally excellent. If I sound like I’m gushing a bit, it’s because you rarely come across content that is this good, this comprehensive. They’ve basically written a book with this series of features. I don’t know if web awards are still given out, but 40-Year-Countdown of Motocross should certainly be nominated.
