You really loved hiding behind that guardrail outside of turn 4, didn’t you Larry? I’ve got a few shots that you took through the years that look EXACTLY like this one. This looks like it’s from 1988, when we had the drought in the midwest, as the grass was burnt to a crisp.

Yes, that guardrail was a nice place to hide behind and be close enough to get great shots. I wouldn’t want to crash there though. You’d be into that guardrail in a split second.

Actually, I think Dave Barnard did just that, and it may even have been on this same weekend. Tore his GSXR to bits, but he fared ok.
