Chambon Races Supermoto-A-Go-Go

Boris Chambon is one of the icons of Supermoto racing. The Frenchman emerged from the French Supermoto scene in the mid-1990s. He won the French title in 1996, which was in effect the world championship since France was about the only place the sport was being run on a regular basisat the time. Chambon then became a leading contender in the European Supermoto Championship, a predecessor to the World Supermoto. He then moved up to be one of the leading World Championship riders when that series launched in 2002. Chambon made appearances in the AMA Supermoto Championship, including this shot from the Red Bull Supermoto-A-Go-Go in Las Vegas in 2004 where he finished second to KTM’s race team boss/racer Kurt Nicoll.
