Landers Sevier tucks under the paint as he accelerates his Cycle Motion Honda out of turn five at Road Atlanta during a WERA National Endurance race in 1992. Sevier and teammate Joe Brett Williams had a great race that day at Road Atlanta finishing second to Kurt Hall and Michael Martin on the Valvoline Suzuki entry. Sevier made a smooth transition from rider to team owner. Cycle Motion eventually morphed into EBSCO Suzuki and eventually Corona Extra Suzuki, one of the top independent teams in the AMA paddock during the late ‘90s and 2000s. The team won the 2001 AMA 750cc Supersport Championship with Jimmy Moore. Landers is living in Alabama, raising a family and said he hopes to form a team again when the economy turns around.
