Ed Key vs. Terry Hampton – Grattan (1986)

Ed Key (1) and Terry Hampton (43) battle it out for Yamaha contingency money in a WERA B Production race at Grattan Raceway late in 1986. Key, from Wisconsin, was probably the second leading Yamaha contingency money winner of all time behind Bart Peterson and he was a master at Grattan. Hampton was a former top-10 AMA Superbike rider from Indianapolis who came back to racing to chase contingency bucks in club racing. These two had some great battles all season at tracks like Grattan, Indianapolis Raceway Park and Blackhawk Farms.
