Jimmy Adamo gives the fans a fist pump after winning the Memphis round of the AMA Pro Twins in August of 1987. It marked the second Pro Twins win in a row for Adamo (he’d won at Mid-Ohio the week before). 1987 was a great season of Pro Twins racing. Four different riders won in the series that year. In addition to Adamo on his Ducati, victors included Marco Lucchinelli (Cagiva), Doug Brauneck (Moto Guzzi), and Dale Quarterley (Bimota). In the end it was Brauneck winning the championship over Adamo, even though Adamo scored more wins (four) that any other rider that season.
