Hoge Earns His First Suzuki Contingency Victory

Tripp Nobles took home the lion’s share of the Suzuki contingency money in WERA sprint racing action at a rainy Roebling Road in March of 1991. The only rider to defeat Nobles that weekend was fellow second year expert Todd Hoge in B Superstock. Hoge and Nobles rubbed fairings more than a couple of times in WERA Southeastern region racing. After a race long battle that also included Mike Reed, Hoge made a last lap pass stick to win his first ever first place Suzuki contingency money. “After struggling in my first expert year, this win feels especially good,” said Hoge. Winning this type of race gives me the confidence I need to have a good year.”
