Chris Peris was just a 17-year-old up-and-coming racer when this photo was shot in 2004 at the Mid-Ohio AMA Supersport race. Already the young Canadian had built an impressive racing resume. Today Peris boasts one of the most diverse backgrounds in road racing, having raced in about every class of road racing in both the U.S. and Canada, as well as having experience in World Supersport and World Championship 125c Grand Prix. In this shot Peris is power wheelying a Team Valvoline EMGO Suzuki GSX-R600 en route to an eighth-place finish, his best of the season. He finished the year ranked 10th in the championship standings.

I’ve recently seen where Chris is going to race at the Maucau Grand Prix this November.
