Cory West, racing the Team HotBodies/Pirelli Suzuki GSXR1000, leads Honda mounted Jeremy Toye in the AMA Superbike race at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, in June of 2005. This was the Sunday race and West went on to score 12^th in the 35-rider field. Toye finished 15^th. West scored one top-10 finish in the Superbike series that season and ended the year ranked 15^th in the standings. West was the Rookie of the Year in 2004.
