Eidenberger, my recollection is that he came out of nowhere went blazingly fast and then disappeared back where ever he had come from. My memory also has him cataloged as a really nice guy too.

hmmm, Eidenberger sounds similar to Bart Peterson- one of the few guys to beat Polen when Polen was on that famous $uzuki Cup tour. Bart woulda been big if he’d continued. Last I heard, he was a successful motorcycle dealer.

This shows the level of talent Z man had.Although mostly known for the HD series he did great on supersport, production and endurance bikes.

I wrenched for Johnny, met him at RA as novice then following season ran lots of weekends, he raced motocross for a long time, guy was in great shape, one weekend we did pit road hand offs all day, fzr400, fzr 750, fzr 1000 , gsxr750, gsxr 1100 and Hurricane 600 I think he made over 4 G one weekend.
He had a 600 katana, too.
We ran a club brainerd, ran full throttle on one and two pretty much destroyed locals
