My friend Larry Barnes emailed me the good news that two of his motorcycles won awards at the AMA’s Vintage Motorcycle Days this past weekend. His 1954 Velocette LE won the British “Best of Show” award, while his 1949 Indian Vertical Twin won “First Place 1940-1950” American bike award. Congrats to Larry, a great collector and motorcycle history archivist.
