Gary D’Aluisio – Road Atlanta 1988

Gary’s brother Chris was one of the leading contenders in 250 Grand Prix racing during the early 1990s.

  1. I believe he’s got family in Vegas,my understanding is that he went to school here. Met him before he started racing when he worked at a Yamaha shop near my home.

    If you’re talking about Marcello, his best result was a fifth at Road America’s AMA 250 Grand Prix in 1993. He had several top-10 finishes in 250GP during his career.

    As far as Gary D’Aluisio is concerned, he never scored a points-paying finish in AMA 250GP that I’m aware of (back in the days where you had to finish top 15 to earn points), but he had some good results in AMA 600 Supersport. Gary had several top-10s with a best of sixth in the Loudon 600 Supersport race in 1987.

  3. Back then a top ten in a Supersport national was quite an accomplishment.Especially when the names in front of you were Polen,James,Ski,russel,Ashmead.Those guys were just nuts on cold tires!
