IRP WERA 4 Hour National Endurance – 1992

Northern Boys Racing (16) is about to be passed by Fritz Kling on the Gold Hill Racing Yamaha (31) during the WERA 4-Hour National Endurance race at Indianapolis Raceway Park on August 8, 1992. Gold Hill, with Kling and Christian Gardner rode a flawless race on the team’s Yamaha FZR 1000 en route to their first ever WERA National Endurance win. Virginia Breeze Racing, with riders Jay Bartlow and Charlie Safley, rode another Yamaha FZR 1000 to second, four laps behind Gold Hill. David Harman and Craig Renck rode the Roswell Racing Suzuki to third, the team’s first podium finish of that season.

Godspeed , Fritz was a good person and freind and i can still remeber dicing with him and Kurt Hall allthough they always got the better of me it wasn’t by much and then my career was cut short by a highside in putnam park, In. when i was paralysed in May of ’93. Long live those Virginia Breeze days.
