Donn Lewis leads Phil Pummell in practice during a WERA racing weekend at Grattan Raceway in May of 1991. Lewis was one of the leading WERA North Central Region Formula Two riders in 1991. He finished third to Marty Miller and Brad Sawyer in that weekend’s F2 race. Lewis also raced AMA 250 Grand Prix events in 1990 and ’91. He scored a solid ninth at the Charlotte 250 Grand Prix National in 1991. It marked his career best in AMA Pro racing. I’m not sure why Donn’s leathers don’t have the second “N” of his first name.
