John Ulrich heavy on the brakes of the Team Hammer Suzuki endurance machine during a WERA National Endurance race in the mid-1980s. Ulrich co-founded the team with Bruce Hammer. The squad went on to win numerous WERA National Endurance Championships, Formula USA titles and AMA road racing championships. Today the team is known as M4 Monster Energy Suzuki. Ulrich also founded the popular periodical Roadracing World.
