I’m not 100 percent certain on the riders on this photo, but I’m going to take a stab at it. I’m betting this is the A Superbike race at the 1989 WERA Grand National Finals. It appears to have been raining judging by the rain and intermediate tires on the bikes. The riders I believe are Doug Kidd (139) leading, Ken Welty (42), Ray Yoder (52), Tom Kipp (behind 42), Frank Fillingham (123) and Michael Martin (96). Can’t help you identify anyone, but I can confirm it was raining at the 89 GNF.

Ditto Mike’s comment — the rain came after the endurance race took place; it was wet much of the weekend. I can vouch for #96 being Michael Martin, and I do believe that Ray Yoder, Jr. is #52 as well.

I know 96 is Martin, that’s me, Frank Fillingham, 123, Tom Kipp just his helmet… that’s the first lap, under the bridge, in driving rain…
