“Rocket” Robert Miller races his South Bay Label Suzuki in the WERA Formula USA race at Willow Springs, in Rosamond, Calif., in April of 1991. Miller has the inside line on Chris D’Aluisio. Miller was one of the fast young riders at Willow in the early 1990s. Willow Springs was also the home track of the Formula USA Series. The championship was a Willow Springs only series founded by track owner Bill Huth. He came to agreement with WERA to take the series national in the late 1980s.
