Dick Mann circa 1965

The results of Dick Mann’s dominant 1965 AMA 250cc Road Race campaign are now online. He won three of the five 250cc nationals that year riding a Yamaha. Tony Murphy and Jody Nicholas won the other two rounds. In the mythical season championship Mann clinched the title even before the the final round, in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, was held. Gary Nixon and Nicholas finished second and third in the mythical standings.
