One of my all-time favorite flat track shots is this photo of Scotty Parker (1) showing the motorcycle flat track definition of the phrase “Rubbin’ is Racin’”. This photo I believe is during a heat race for the 1998 1995 Daytona Short Track National. Parker is running it underneath Eli Price Jeff Annen (35) with Bobby Myers (84C) right there in the action. Parker was dialed in that night and went on to win the national over Terry Poovey and Brett Landes.

I would like to know what Price was thinking when he looks back and sees Scotty breathing down his neck…

Wow, I was just bragging to a gal who likes the NFL Rams. She does dirt bike racing and I mentioned that George is my (favorite) nephew – and a ‘Champion Bike Racer’. Always so soft spoken and laid back. I admired you tremendously, but above all I used to worry that you might get seriously injured someday. I hope you are still well, happy and healthy George. I am so happy I found you on the 3rd try using 123people.com.ca. Awesome! Hello to my great racing champ nephew George Morin from Uncle – Joseph George Robert Morin in Winnipeg. Yes, we do share the same name even.
Love you nephew, Uncle Bob.
