Raw Patterson

Stevie Patterson leans the Raw Racing Yamaha through the carousel at Indianapolis Raceway Park during a WERA Endurance race. Patterson was a second-generation racer out of the Detroit area. He emerged in the late 1980s and early 1990s as one of the fastest road racers in the Midwest. Patterson raced AMA Superbike (on a Superstock machine) as well as both the 600 and 750 Supersport classes in the pro ranks. He scored a trio of top-10 AMA 600 Supersport  finishes, including a career best of seventh at Daytona in 1997.
