At the Memphis WERA National Endurance race in 1990 SAS Racing won the Mediumweight Superbike class after early class leaders RKN Racing then Team Machine both broke. Stan Jacks, Pat Bowen and Mike Richardson rode the SAS Yamaha FZR 600 to an eight lap victory over Team Lips.
