Dave Raber, of the American Spirit Racing WERA National Endurance squad, speaks in front of a packed auditorium during a school program somewhere in Indiana during the early 1990s. If I recall correctly Raber rode the endurance racing machine onto the stage much to the delight of the students. It would be interesting to know if any of these kids became racing fans.

American Spirit was an Indianapolis-based team that featured riders Gene Burcham, Jay Denham, Dale Kieffer, Dave Raber and Ralph Johnston in the 24 Hour events. The bikes were ex-Human Race Team Yamahas. Raber was known to sometimes bring his pet cougar to the races.
