Keith Badger (87) leads rival Nick Morehouse (65) in a WERA Regional at Putnam Park in 1992. Badger was an Indy Car mechanic who got to be pretty damn fast on a road racing motorcycle. His equipment was always impeccably prepare as you would expect. He’s gone on to become one of the most sought after lead mechanics in Indy Car. “Badge” was also one of the great personalities of motorcycle racing back in the early 1990s. A road trip with him was an experience not soon forgotten.
