Human Race Team owner/mechanic Dave Zupan works on the Yamaha FZR1000-powered Bimota after it blew a valve cover gasket at the start of an endurance race. The Humans raced the Bimota in 1991 with Dale Quarterley and Tommy Douglas in the AMA’s EBC Brake Endurance Challenge. The Humans won races, but could not overthrow the dominant Dutchman Racing that season.
