Kurt Hall went WERA Novice  on to become one of, if not the greatest WERA racer of all time, but here’s a rare photo of him from his earliest road racing days racing a Kawasaki GPz550 at Grattan Raceway in Sept. of 1984. Wayne Rainey was Kurt’s racing hero and this was right after Rainey’s stint on Kawasaki’s AMA Superbike squad, so I’m sure that’s why Hall is sporting the Kawasaki factory replica leathers.
