Mike Baldwin riding a Bimota leading Baldassare Monti at the World Superbike round in Mosport, Canada, in 1989. Mosport was a beautiful – albeit dangerous at the time because of armco – racing venue. Baldwin finished eighth and sixth in the Canadian rounds. Monti tragically died in Nov. of 2008 after getting hit by a car while riding a scooter near Parma, Italy.
