Dallasite Jim Sabin on the Mad Dog Racing Yamaha in the 1990 Daytona 200. Mad Dog Racing was one of the leading privateer teams of the early 1990s. Hank Dow, whose family founded Dow Chemical, was the team owner and he fielded some trick Yamaha Superbikes. Sabin was a semi-regular in the AMA Superbike Series in the late 1980s and early ’90s. His top Superbike finish was 11th at Topeka in 1989.
