Cam Roos went on to become one of the top AMA Supersport racers of the late 1980s, but here he was as a novice in a WERA race at Talladega Grand Prix Raceway. Cam had a trick little Honda NS250 that he would smoke the rest of the novices on.

Cam is one of the classiest guys I’ve ever met in the world of motorcycling. I worked with him and his dad when I had a part time role at Roswell Fun Machines in Roswell GA. They had just started being a Yamaha dealer, and I helped set up the parts bins. I probably learned more from Buddy (his dad) in those few months that from anyone else in the same amount of time.
Cam is now the Parts Manager at Moto 400 in North Georgia.
