Great shot my man. Those bikes were SO awesome to watch let alone see. I’ve got a shot from the previous fall there at the GNF with Robbie Peterson and The Screaming Chief side by side on the back stretch that also illustrates the power and beauty of those great bikes.
As always, thanks for the memories! 14 days and counting to the GP and Indy Mile……

Yeah it was exciting to watch the Yamaha GP bikes of Oliver and Petersen at a WERA race. Chuck Graves told me for a time he thought WERA F-USA would become the premier series in the country, then they started limiting the bikes. Who knows where run-what-you-brung would have eventually would have taken us.
