Brit Alan Carter on the MacLean Racing Honda RS250R at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in 1987. Carter had been teammates with Wayne Rainey on Kenny Roberts’ Marlboro Yamaha 250 GP World Championship team in 1984. The year before Carter won the French 250cc Grand Prix in his GP debut creating quite a sensation. Carter raced in the U.S. from 1987 through 1989. This was a great team and bike. kork had a better set up and personal working for him.
I had the chance to race for ago poss 2 gps wimmer had broke is leg before the season started,or do a full year in the usa another mistake looking back by me.Bob treated me fantastic i just needed a proper gp spanner man behind me not a plumber from big bear sorry john you was a great guy but not up 2 the job.
