This was one of my favorite photos from Mid-Ohio this past weekend. It’s Josh Hayes, Ben Bostrom and Tommy Hayden going over the rise at Turn Five. The shot gives you a feel of the elevation change and angle of the challenging turn. The hill overlooking turn five is the favorite fan vantage point at Mid-Ohio.

This is one of the best places to shoot from at mid ohio (Turn one is my favorite) I have a shot of the top 7 going through this turn from race #1.

That’s a good angle too. I’ve shot that at he starts of races in the past. Somewhere there must be an angle to shot the riders and show the crowd on the hill in the background.
