Sprocket is positively the best motorcycle racing comic strip ever. You’ll find Sprocket in Cycle News and I’m sure other publications around the world.

You've got to have tough skin when Sprocket strikes you.
Let me share Sprocket’s send up of yours truly.
The background is that I wrote an AMA news release talking about the Americans returning home to race in the MotoGP at Laguna Seca. Now I’ve known Nicky Hayden since he was a snotty-nosed kid, but for some unbelievably strange reason I left him off the release. I talked about Colin Edwards, John Hopkins and Kenny Junior, but no Nicky in the release.
It went through the editing process unnoticed and went out as a general AMA news release. Naturally the AMA got dozens, if not hundreds, of emails almost instantly wondering why Nicky wasn’t mentioned.
Websites across the Internet picked up the mistake and made a big deal out of it.
A week later this comic from Sprocket came out.
To add insult to injury my wife said the cartoon looked just like me!
I was googling for the Cycle News logo when I saw this one.
What a coincidence and thank you for these kind words.
I must print this page and admire them every day!
Sprocket.
